Policy for Potential Members under the age of 18:

If you are a potential member (or legal guardian of a potential member) who is under 18, we have some additional procedures for becoming a member that will need to be followed before your membership can be activated:

1.) Before your membership can be activated, you must come in for an additional tour of the facility / meeting.  The Executive Director, as well as a member of Firelabs' board of directors will meet you and gauge your level of expertise.  Note: We do not offer mentorship programs, classes, special programs, etc for individuals under the age of 18.  They are welcome to participate in trainings or classes (with parent or guardian present), but we do not have dedicated staff to assist members under 18.

2.) Pending a decision from the Executive Director after the meeting, you will be given a 3-week trial period membership during which time you can schedule trainings on the various pieces of equipment by reaching out to the Executive Director via Slack.

3.) At the end of the 3-week trial period, your membership will be fully activated and your billing cycle will start.
