Make Your Own Dress/Body Form

For this two-part class, we'll be using a common method for creating a life-size form/mannequin of your own body - wrapping people in duct tape.  The result of this activity is a life-size body form of the participant, which can then be used for sewing projects - making costumes, clothing, apparel, etc.  You can also just keep it in your living room as a new friend (we don't judge, just don't drive with it in the HOV lane).

Session 1 will involve wrapping the subjects, while Session 2 will involve filling in the body form so it becomes rigid and stable to use for your projects.

Duct Tape and Spray Filler Foam are included in the price of this class, so you will not need to bring your own materials. 

You WILL need to make sure to wear old clothes that you do not mind being absolutely covered with adhesive tape and spray foam.  These clothes will become unified with your dress/body form in perfect harmony.

We also recommend that you bring a guest with whom you are comfortable with as far as personal space/physical contact goes - you will need them to help you wrap the tape around your body.

    • I acknowledge that consent to this LIABILITY DISCLAIMER is implied upon entering the premises, either on my own behalf or through my legal guardian.
