Intro to Leather Sewing – Make Something That Lasts! If you've ever wanted to try leatherworking but didn’t know where to start—this class is for you. We’ll be working with pre-cut and pre-punched leather pouches, so you can dive right into the fun part: stitching. You’ll learn three different hand-sewing techniques that are used by leatherworkers around the world. Don’t worry—no experience needed, just a willingness to try something new. In this hands-on class, I’ll walk you through: Saddle stitch – strong, clean, and built to last. Cross stitch – a decorative twist with some personality. Whip stitch – quick, simple, and great for edges. By the end, you'll walk out with a handmade leather pouch and a solid foundation in leather sewing. It’s a great way to slow down, work with your hands, and make something that actually feels real. All tools and materials are included—just show up and have fun. Come hang out, learn a new skill, and make something cool.

    • I agree to not bring any claims against the organization or the City of Roswell, and hereby release and discharge the organization and the City of Roswell from liability under any such claims.

    • Additionally, I agree to hold the organization and the City of Roswell harmless against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind arising from any claim of a third party related to activities and/or facilities operated by Roswell Firelabs / Atlanta Maker Alliance.

    • I acknowledge that consent to this LIABILITY DISCLAIMER is implied upon entering the premises, either on my own behalf or through my legal guardian.
