This introductory epoxy course is designed for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of working with resin.
Over the past few years, I’ve created a variety of epoxy projects—plaques, signs, charcuterie boards, and river tables—using everything from deep-pour and tabletop epoxy to stabilizing and penetrating types. After several people expressed interest in learning more, I put this class together to share what I’ve learned, including tips, techniques, and the common pitfalls to avoid in your own projects.
We’ll cover how to choose the right epoxy for your specific project, essential materials, pigments, and different types of molds. Due to curing times, we won’t be able to complete a finished piece during the class, but you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to start your own project right away.
Location: Roswell Firelabs Classroom
Cost: $25 — all proceeds will go toward purchasing new HDPE molds for the makerspace.
