Every gift to Roswell Firelabs goes straight back into the shop — keeping a 4,200 sq ft makerspace open, safe, and stocked with the tools our community uses to learn, build, and teach each other. Firelabs is a program of Atlanta Maker Alliance, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donation is tax-deductible.
Membership dues cover day-to-day operations, but they don't cover everything — new equipment, facility upkeep, and the community-facing classes and open-house events that bring people who aren't members yet into the building. Firelabs runs a steady schedule of hands-on classes and tool trainings, taught by member volunteers, that turn total beginners into people who can safely run a table saw, strike a weld, cut a pattern on a laser, or take a 3-D model from screen to shop floor. Those same skills — problem-solving with your hands, reading a tool before you touch it, seeing a project through to the end — are ones people carry with them well beyond the shop.
That mission reaches past our own membership, too. Firelabs has supported local FIRST Robotics teams building and testing competition robots, hosted Scouting organizations working toward maker-related badges and service projects, welcomed local schools for hands-on visits, and shared space, tools, and expertise with other area nonprofits pursuing similar community goals. Your donation helps keep that door open to all of them.
We sincerely appreciate your support!
