This class will have you making a wooden picture frame approximately 24"x12" frame out of poplar. Each student will receive the wooden frame and glass.
We will use the following tools: miter saw, router table, and various hand tools to help finish the frame.
The teacher will run you thru wood shop safety and proper usage. The age limit for the class will be 18+.
PLEASE WEAR LONG PAINTS AND CLOSED TOED SHOES, ALSO LONG HAIR UP!

Stained Glass for Beginners
Come learn the traditional copper-foil technique. We teach you how to cut, grind, and piece together beautiful stained glass. We will be providing beginner patterns for sun catchers, or a picture frame. Supplies are included with the class. This is a two-part class, first session on Wednesday October 23rd from 6:00-8:00 PM, and second session on Wednesday October 30th from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Recommended age: 13 & up
**Closed toed shoes and long pants required.**
On December 7th, 2019, we will be hosting a MAKER MARKETPLACE. This will be an exposition of any local makers in the Roswell and Metro-Atlanta area who would like the opportunity to show off or sell their favorite crafts and projects to the Roswell community.

December 13th, 2019 Glass Etching Using Media Blasting 7:00pm-9:00pm
Come learn how to use software to create a personalized design to cut a vinyl mask, then take your design to the blasting cabinet and etch the design into the surface of glass. This method can be used to etch almost anything made of glass: mugs, cups, pie pans, window panes, ornaments, and many other items. This class will give individuals an opportunity to walk through the process, and gain skills necessary to etch glass using tools and resources available at Roswell Firelabs.
In this Ornament etching class each participant will be provided with 2 ornaments, we will have different shapes available. We will also have the normal drinking glasses if you would rather do two of those.
If possible, please install the Current Version of Silhouette Studio on a personal laptop and bring it with you to the event.

Been putting off getting your pages set? Get together with local scrapbook artists for a FULL DAY of nothing but scrapbooking! A Creative Memories rep will be present and there is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker on location.
COST: This event is $10 for members and $15 for non members.
This is a private event for the Boy Scouts. This will take place in the wood shop!
Come join us December 17th and learn how to make a one of a kind abstract acrylic painting.
During this 1 hour class you will learn different pouring techniques and will be given a 12x12 canvas to make your own creation. All supplies are provided and you may leave your painting at the firelabs so it can dry.
You will be given a date and time as to when you may pick up your work. Please be sure to wear old clothes in case you get paint on yourself.
